SOSA DANCE COMPANY

Ana Sosa started dancing Ballet when she was four in her home country, Mexico. When she was eight years old she moved to Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada where she found her love of contemporary in the studios Harbour Dance Center and Dance Co Academy. At eighteen she moved to New York  to study Business Management after receiving the President’s Scholarship at Pace University. Right after Ana Sosa graduated she received the Eryc Taylor Dance grant which was the catalyst of her dance career. She has since performed at the Jennifer Muller’s Hatch Presenting Series, Wholelottaproductions’ The Pearl, and she will be performing this month at the Chen Dance Center’s New Steps Series & the Spoke the Hub 14th Annual Winter Follies. She is very excited to be a participant in The Moving Beauty Series! It is a wonderful opportunity for emerging choreographers, and for talented dancers to showcase their efforts.  Most recently, Ana Sosa received a residency at NYC Dance Arts.
